Hello, I’m Karolina

I’m a freelance projects and communications professional. Early in my career, my business management skills were founded in public sector infrastructure projects. I honed my communications and events skills across the corporate, not-for-profit, entertainment and tourism sectors. I have delivered a mix of projects from ministerial sod turnings to lavish weddings, and government symposiums. My written work has helped Australian Defence scientists win international science prizes. In 2016 I established my own tech start-up offering ticketing solutions to event managers across eastern Australia, New Zealand and south-east Asia. In 2020 I joined a Silicon Valley start-up in the camping tourism industry, to scale up and progress the growth of global eco-tourism. My hobbies include photography and digital art, although I used to love painting with a real brush. In my spare time I love to visit museums and galleries, or head out on bushwalks and coastal adventures with a camera in tow.
